1 bag vegan chocolate chips or chopped vegan chocolate

Instructions

Combine the powdered sugar, peanut butter, margarine, and vanilla. Roll the mixture into quarter-sized balls. They should be somewhat firm; add more powdered sugar if needed. Freeze the balls briefly to help them harden.

Melt the chocolate and vegetable shortening in the microwave for 1.5โ2 minutes, being careful not to overheat.

Insert toothpicks into the peanut butter balls and dip each into the melted chocolate. Leave a small portion of peanut butter exposed at the top to resemble a Buckeye. Shake off excess chocolate and place the balls back on wax paper.
