Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans fire-roasted diced garlic tomatoes

  • 2 jalapeños

  • 4 large garlic cloves

  • 1 large sweet white onion

  • 1 small lime

  • 1 bunch cilantro, leaves and stems

Instructions

  1. Roughly chop the sweet onion, jalapeños, cilantro, and garlic. Add to a food processor.

  2. Add the two cans of fire-roasted tomatoes and blend until smooth.

  3. Squeeze the lime juice into the salsa and blend again until fully combined.

  4. Taste and adjust seasoning if desired. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to use.

Notes

Remove jalapeño seeds for a milder salsa.

Add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors if needed.

This salsa thickens slightly after chilling.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
