Ingredients
For the Corn Dogs

1 package Beyond Sausage Brat Original (4 total)

Wooden skewers or corn dog sticks

Canola oil, for frying
Vegan Corn Dog Batter

1.5 cups flour

1 cup fine cornmeal

2 tbsp non dairy sour cream

4 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp baking powder

1 cup plant milk
Instructions

In a large bowl, mix flour, cornmeal, sugar and baking powder.

Add non dairy sour cream, then gradually add plant milk. Stir until smooth. Adjust thickness by adding flour to thicken or plant milk to thin.

Insert a wooden skewer into each Beyond Sausage, stopping about 1 inch before the end.

Freeze the skewered sausages for 30 to 45 minutes so the batter adheres well.

Pour batter into a tall glass wide enough to submerge the sausages.

Heat 4 to 5 inches of canola oil in a Dutch oven to 360°F.

Dip each frozen sausage fully into the batter, coating completely.

Immediately and carefully place the coated sausage into hot oil.
