Description

A Sweet and Savory Noodle Bowl You’ll Crave Again Tomorrow

This quick and vibrant noodle dish combines mandarin orange chick’n, tender veggie noodles and crunchy slaw for a sweet and savory stir fry style bowl that delivers big flavor with simple ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 1 bag (10 oz) Birds Eye Steamfresh Veggie Made Spaghetti Style With Olive Oil, cooked

  • 1 bag (10.5 oz) Gardein Mandarin Orange Crispy Chick’n

  • 3 tablespoons Earth Balance Organic Whipped Buttery Spread

  • 1 package (12 oz) broccoli coleslaw

  • 1 medium red bell pepper, thinly sliced

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion

  • 2 green onions, sliced

  • 2 tablespoons chopped peanuts, optional


Instructions

  1. Cook the chick’n according to the skillet directions on the package, substituting 2 tablespoons Earth Balance for the oil. Remove chick’n and sauce from skillet and set aside.

  2. In the same skillet, melt the remaining 1 tablespoon Earth Balance over medium high heat. Add broccoli slaw, bell pepper and onion. Cook about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until just tender.

  3. Add the cooked veggie noodles and cook 1 to 2 minutes to heat through. Season with salt and pepper if desired.

  4. Add the prepared chick’n and reserved sauce back into the skillet.

  5. Sprinkle with green onions and peanuts before serving.

Notes

Add extra crunch with toasted sesame seeds or cashews.

Serve with a squeeze of lime or a drizzle of chili crisp for extra heat.

Pair with a simple cucumber salad for a fresh, cooling balance.
