Creamy Southern-Style Vegan Pimento Cheese

This creamy Southern-style vegan pimento cheese combines plant-based cream cheese, vegan shreds, and tangy pimientos for a rich, flavorful spread. Perfect for crackers, sandwiches, burgers, or toast.

  • 8 oz Certified Vegan Oatly Chive & Onion Cream Cheese

  • 1/2 cup Follow Your Heart Vegenaise

  • 7 oz Chao Creamy Original Shreds

  • 8 oz Violife Cheddar Shreds

  • 4 oz jar pimientos, drained

  • 2 scallions, diced

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 medium red onion, finely chopped

  • Pinch of salt and black pepper


Instructions

  1. If using a food processor, add the vegan cheese shreds and pulse a few times to break them into smaller pieces. This helps create a smoother, creamier texture.

  2. In a large bowl, add all ingredients and mix thoroughly until fully combined and creamy.

  3. Serve immediately or refrigerate for about 20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Pulsing the cheese shreds creates a smoother, more spreadable texture.

Letting the pimento cheese chill briefly enhances the flavor.
