Recipe + Photos by April Viar
My grandma used to make the best fudge. She would always give it to us in a tin during the holidays. I really wanted to recreate her recipe using only vegan ingredients. The rich chocolate and creamy texture is definitely on point. I hope you enjoy this Decadent Vegan Fudge as much as I do.
Servings: 36
INGREDIENTS
- 3 cups vegan chocolate chips
- 1 can Nature’s Charm Sweetened Condensed Coconut ‘Milk
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup of butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp espresso powder
DIRECTIONS
- Line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper.
- Add all of the ingredients to a medium saucepan on low heat. Constantly stirring until everything is combined and melting.
- Continue stirring until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth and shiny.
- Pour the fudge mixture into the pan. Tap the pan on the counter a couple times to level out the fudge.
- Place the Decadent Vegan Fudge in the fridge for 2 hours to set. Once it has hardened, lift up the parchment paper out of the pan and place on a flat surface to slice.
NOTES
Wrap the fudge in parchment paper and keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
If you are sharing this dish, cut the fudge into little squares and place them in individual candy holders. This will make it easy for your guest to grab a piece and it looks cute!
