INGREDIENTS
- 2 POUNDS (CONTAINERS) OF FRESH TOFU – FROZEN OVERNIGHT, THAWED, DRAINED, AND SQUEEZED. CUT INTO 1/2 INCH CHUNKS.
- 1 CUP PEANUT BUTTER
- 1/4 CUP VEGETABLE OIL
- 1 TSP PAPRIKA
- 2 TSP SALT
- 2 TSP GARLIC POWDER
- 1/2 TSP BLACK PEPPER
- 1 BOTTLE BARBECUE SAUCE (I USE ANNIE’S) OR 12 OZ HOMEMADE SAUCE
DIRECTIONS
- MIX PEANUT BUTTER, OIL, AND SPICES.
- ADD TOFU AND FOLD WELL INTO THE MIX. LET SIT AT LEAST AN HOUR.
- ADD TO AN OILED BAKING SHEET AND SPREAD OUT EVENLY.
- PLACE INTO A PREHEATED OVEN AT 350 FOR 30 MINUTES.
- FLIP TOFU OVER AND COOK ANOTHER 30 MINUTES OR UNTIL JUST CRISPY.
- ADD FULL BOTTLE OF BBQ SAUCE AND FOLD ONTO TOFU ON BAKING SHEET.
- BAKE 10 MORE MINUTES OR UNTIL SAUCE IS GOOPY.
- LET COOL AND ENJOY!
