Food Trucks are a great and easy way to grab food at any event, festival, brewery or even on your lunch break. More and more trucks have started offering vegan dishes, so we reached out to our Facebook followers to find out their favorite Richmond food trucks.

In no particular order, here is what we came up with:

Zorch Pizza has hit the Richmond food truck scene with a bang, selling out of its delicious New York-style za almost every time the truck is set up. Try their vegan pepperoni or cheese slice. You really can’t go wrong with either. If a slice isn’t enough, ask if they’re dishing out vegan garlic cheesy bread and grab an order of that too! But always remember that if you want to ensure you get a Zorch slice, show up early. Find their schedule here.

Intergalatic Tacos – Just like the name, this food truck has vegan tacos that are out of this world! Seriously, they are beyond good! Although there isn’t a consistent menu published online, you can expect to always see at least one vegan option. If you’re not in the mood for tacos, order a vegan quesadilla made with Rooted Delights cheese.

Gogovegango – If you love vegan burgers, loaded fries by the name of Not So Pad Thai and vegan fish tacos, you must check out Gogovegango. This truck packs flavor with every item they serve, but my top favorite is the Thai Fighter Burger — a Beyond Burger topped with an explosion of Thai flavors. For a bit more of a kick, add extra gogo sauce! If you choose to add a side, don’t forget to share (or not) a basket of the Not So Pad Thai Fries, topped with gogo sauce, hoisin, cilantro, bean sprouts and crunchy bread crumbles. Your taste buds will be singing for weeks, or until you’ve had an encore meal.

River City Wood Fire Pizza – Can you ever eat too much pizza? The answer is no. You definitely can’t. Although River City Wood Fire Pizza mostly caters to omnis, their RVA Vegan pizza is off the chains, literally. They make their own “cheese” and cook their za in a wood oven for ultimate crispness. Do we really need to say more?

Hungry Turtle It’s always nice to mix things up and add a little more flavor in your diet. This tasty truck offers traditional Vietnamese dishes including a tofu Bahn Mi sandwich. Of course you can’t leave The Hungry Turtle without trying a tofu taco or an order of their vegan egg rolls!

Goatocado – If you’re looking for a healthier option while you’re out, then look no further. Goatocado is the best choice! They are known for their bowls that are piled with fresh ingredients. The fast casual restaurant and food truck also now sells ramen and arepa sandwiches. Our personal favorite is the Californian bowl — order it “vegan” and add tofu for some extra protein! You won’t regret it.
